Synchronization

Synchronization is fundamental for a mobile application to have data consistency. Having data consistency in all your devices (cell phones, pda's, computers) is a demand that has to be promptly and easily fulfilled.

Our synchronization server allows you to keep your cell phone up-to-date with your contacts list, calendar, assignments and notes.

You can also synchronize with any other type of SyncML device. SyncML is a technology developed by cell phone manufacturer's that allows the synchronization of cell phones with remote servers.

This technology has evolved and many other devices can now use SyncML for remote synchronization, keeping the data between these devices constantly synchronized:

- Outlook snd Outlook Express
- Palm
- PocketPC
- Lotus Notes
- iPod
- Blackberry
- ACT
- Mozilla



How does it work?

You can synchronize your data through the Internet without having to connect cables or wires, having a device that is compatible with SyncML, such as cell phones with SyncML technology (being it native or downloaded for installation), Palm, Blackberry, or PocketPPC.

Synchronization is possible with any SyncML client that has access to the internet.

New cell phone models already entail the SyncML software. Due to the great amount of cell phones available at the moment, you must check your cell phone manual in order to find out if you have the SyncML synchronization feature. If you are not sure, please consult the manufacturer.

Computer
Through the installation of a SyncML client, available only for Windows operating systems. You can use a free or a paid client. Support is given by the manufacturer in the paid version, and through discussion lists in the free version

Palm
Through the installation of a SyncML client, available only for Windows operating systems. You can use a free or a paid client. Support is given by the manufacturer in the paid version, and through discussion lists in the free version.

PocketPC
Through the installation of a SyncML client, available only for Windows operating systems. You can use a free or a paid client. Support is given by the manufacturer in the paid version, and through discussion lists in the free version.

Blackberry
Through the installation of a SyncML client, available only for Windows operating systems. You can use a free or a paid client. Support is given by the manufacturer in the paid version, and through discussion lists in the free version.

iPod
Through the installation of a SyncML client. Support is given by discussion lists.
